Strawberry Dole Whip

Strawberry Dole Whip

Strawberry Dole Whip is a creamy, fruit-based frozen treat that captures the bright, juicy flavor of strawberries in a refreshing, dairy-free dessert. It’s easy to make, endlessly customizable, and a healthy, satisfying way to cool off any time of year.
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup of pineapple juice
  • ½ cup of unsweetened coconut milk or any milk alternative you prefer
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar or more to taste

Method

Blend the Ingredients:
  1. Add the frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, coconut milk, lemon juice, and powdered sugar to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If it's too thick, add a splash of extra pineapple juice or coconut milk to help it blend more easily.
Adjust the Sweetness:
  1. Give it a quick taste and, if needed, add a bit more powdered sugar to suit your preference. Blend again briefly to fully incorporate.
Serve Fresh:
  1. For a soft-serve style treat, enjoy the Dole Whip right away by scooping it into bowls or piping it into cups for that classic swirl look.
Optional Freeze Time:
  1. If you'd like a firmer texture, pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring once halfway through for an even consistency.
Add Final Touches:
  1. Serve plain or top with fresh strawberry slices, a mint sprig, or a light drizzle of honey for a beautiful and delicious finish.

Notes

Milk Substitutes:
Feel free to replace coconut milk with almond milk, oat milk, or regular dairy milk, depending on your personal preference.
Sweetener Variations:
Customize the sweetness to your taste—honey, agave syrup, or stevia are great alternatives to powdered sugar and can be adjusted as needed.
Storage Tips:
Leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week. Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften for easier scooping.
